Revival: Kinstugi, A Summer Solstice Celebration

This week Revival is happening in Utah! If you haven’t purchased tickets there’s still time for the fun beginning on Thurs, June 22. Revival is a transformational wellness festival offering a unique immersive art and nature experience. The retreat-style offerings start with physical grounding through a variety of meditations, sound baths, yoga, breath-work classes, and a host of panel and open forum discussions. Throughout the day, they offer open source workshops on community-driven topics, coupled with keynote speakers. In between classes and workshops, explore, with your inner child, a playground of possibilities. Culture Camps host events ranging from pub quizzes and dance parties, to open mics and art creation stations. If you would like a glimpse into the festival offerings, check our the festival guide, or browse our festival guides from previous years. Participants plan on camping through the event, along side culture camps and other participants to fully integrate themselves in the festival experience.

How did Revival begin? Here is a description from their site:

“Revival was conceptualized at the beginning of 2021 as the first wave of quarantine and isolation began to break during the pandemic. We believed the need for an opportunity to reconnect and socialize was more important than ever and wanted to provide a space for individuals from all walks of life come to connect with themselves, their neighbors, and the universe.

With a heavy emphasis on the understanding we have all undergone intense overhauls in our lives over the course of the pandemic, we offered workshops on topics ranging from personal pathways of self-improvement to community connectivity and spiritual growth as a society. These workshops sat alongside late-night music, art, and an extraordinary heatwave, in the Utah west desert at The Bonneville Sea-base.

After the inspired weekend camping with 600 beautiful and unique souls, we received an explosion of feedback from what looked to be a new, and curious, community forming.

In 2021 we took that feedback and focused our vision to fulfill a purpose found. Creating a space for those breaking away from former selves and lives, to discover new paths and cultivate healthy connections to those around us. Now our home is based at the North Fork Park, in Eden Utah.

We are inspired to pull together local organizations and nonprofits to create a weekend of jubilation, warm hearts, and open minds.”
