Mormon Psychedelic Summit

We can’t remember whether the Mormon Psychedelic Summit is a sign of the Apocalypse, but it shows that things are changing in the Beehive. The Utah Bee actively covers plant medicine in Utah and will proudly co-sponsor this all-day Zoom event with the Divine Assembly, a Utah-based church that uses a magic mushroom sacrament to connect with the Divine.

Doug Fabrizio and KUER’s Radio West recently reported, “There’s a community of former members of the [Mormon Church] who believe they’ve found healing and discovered a new sense of spirituality in magic mushrooms.” 

Sure enough! And the same also can be said for finding spirituality with the help of other psychedelic substances. If spirituality isn’t your bag, psychedelics also are helping post-Mormons find healing, enrichment, connection, and community.
